STAR PROFILE.....Gets to know PRODUCER TOTTI of KayG RECORDS

He is better known as Producer Totti but his real name is John Kagimbi.Born on  July 25th, Totti wa raised in Bamburi, Kiembeni. He started schooling at Citadel Junior then went to Light Academy..
How he discovered his talent
"I have had interest in music ever since I was young. My dad once gave me a small piano as a gift. I slowly started learning how to play it. I got addicted to the piano and later found out that I had a gift in music."

His Breakthrough
I bought equipments and put them in my bedroom in my parents house. That is where I recorded Ally B's Maria and Ni Wangu in 2010.
Totti worked with many artistes including Akothee, Pilipili, Ali Kiba, J.I, Amoury, Pasha, Sam Wa Ukweli, Kenrazy, Frasha, and many more.
I asked Totti if there are artistes or people who he wish to work with and he said he realy wishes to work with Suzanne Awiyo, Vanessa Mdee, Jux & Barnaba.

How he works
Am a hands on producer and a Sound Engineer. I deal mostly with Live Recording, Band Recording which most producer here in Mombasa are not used to.
My current release is Migogoro which i featured Chikuzee, which came after i released my single titled Wangu Under my new Management Maliza Umaskini.

Where does he see himself in 5years time...
"In Five years.......that's a lot of time. Next year, is my year!
